Unit Award Scheme 

What is the Unit Award Scheme (UAS)

UAS is a scheme that enables all students of all abilities to be involved in learning and receiving recognized achievements throughout.

​

Each time a student completes a single award they obtain a certificate, so throughout their time they gain a substantial portfolio of certificates which they can use to evidence their skills, knowledge and experience.

​

The UAS is a unique way of learning, with each certificate obtained giving regular encouragement and praise to students. This often improves motivation and a easy clear way to see how far you have progressed throughout the year.

​

There are a wide range of units available covering many subjects and each unit can be tailored by us for bespoke learning. There is also no limit on the amount of units a student can achieve so the sky really is the limit!

Instructors will select the units they wish to complete, each unit will outline learning outcomes and any evidence that may be needed to supplement that unit. The instructor will then deliver the unit however they feel appropriate, there are no set schemes of work,making it extremely flexible.
